No @Jagster you were correct. TLP does provide a control to choose which image. Topic List Previews Theme Component Thumbnail Picker in the Topic Meta Editor. (Pick any thumbnail from the entire Topic using a simple UI) I’ve never installed the sidecar plugin with another Theme, but it might work …

Site Settings are under Settings → Settings (funnily enough! ) There’s even a search box to get you to the right one quickly: image1105×229 21.2 KB

Feel free to ask for support on the Layouts Topic. It’s pretty straightforward. Just add widgets by installing them as theme components and then select them in the plugin settings.

The TC flavour is responsive to sidebars and has the portfolio/user wall. Best to discuss that in the ‘plugins’ topic.

amotl: i.e. to make it persistent. You can usually override plugins and themes with your own CSS installed as a Theme Component. I do this all the time. Create a Theme Component, add the delta CSS and add the Component to the Theme.
