  Ah yes, I see how we got here. We don’t necessarily want to change the defaults in the category/tag banners components, don’t want to fork them either. Tricky to fix, let’s leave it as is for now and see if others run into the same issue. Admin sidebar change looks good already, thanks!

  I have updated the theme to improve dark mode compatibility, you should see an improvement after pulling the latest changes.

  This is likely because I just merged FontAwesome 5 into master and now the core icons are no longer in :befores (more here). I tried removing the :before on the browser console, and it seems to do the trick.
