I am afraid part of this being “personal” is that it is my prefs… so I think best you can do here is just fork it and make your own theme. I don’t mean to be mean hear, but I want to avoid options on my personal theme.

It is definitely working here. I recommend you upgrade to the latest version of Discourse and install using the official guide.

This should no longer be the case case the theme explicitly only defines desktop behavior.

The theme is actually fine, the issue is that our transpiler changed so you need to invalidate a cache. @eviltrout will fix it so it happens automatically, but in the mean time just add a space into the HEAD section with all the customizations and save, then it will work.

Hiding columns is trivial, just use CSS, we are pretty customizable as it is, we may split up some rendering chunks a bit more

I just added partial heatmapping (only hot) Pasted image1156×798 30.8 KB I find that too many colors distract me in the theme, but highlighting the hottest conversations does have some benefit.

I just updated my theme to allow for the structure changes made when we added the bullet category style, it also made CSS smaller.

going with this in my theme for now: but leaving core alone for now. I can’t be doing these kind of changes so close to release, and @awesomerobot can look at this anyway.

What I committed for the main theme is VERY close to the scheme slack use and is a factor of tertiary/secondary color, not a weird combo with the success color. Probably best open a new topic on this if you wish. This is really night and day: Note: the color is a hint, the numbers communicate...

Been playing with my design today: I really hate our greenish color there, nothing else in the design as that color. Also I prefer square category style throughout so I added that. I find the lines a tad disjoint from the category word. Note colors look washed out cause I am suppressing them...

Workflow wise, are you aware we “live refresh” css as you muck with it. I open up one window on customization and keep the editor maximised (there is a maximise button top right) And another window with the site. It makes mucking with CSS a breeze.
