Hadn't heard of this project, thanks for sharing. Getting a real Whole Earth Catalog meets hacker-makers vibe from this, which is a good thing.

It's actually an old video, but I think it kind of matches the spirit of Ruqqus in the sense that everything would be open source and censorship-free. For the people, by the people, if you will. Definitely worth watching some of his other projects if this interests you.
