This is so freaking cool. I'm always amazed seeing slice-of-life type footage from the long ago past. In this case, seeing people experience the simple pleasure of a snowball fight is somehow a relief to me. Still photos from that era seem so formal; stuck up even. And even though every single person in that brief film are long gone, it's a reminder that their lives had moments of joy, just as ours occasionally do. Technology has made our lives infinitely more complicated than theirs, but those of us who grew up with snow have all experienced a snowball fight. It's strangely humbling.
