Honestly we don’t need a stand-alone app. Site runs excellently on every mobile device I’ve tried it on and various different browsers as well.

What were you using before? There is no standalone app that I'm aware of, so if you weren't using the website what were you browsing on?

I would definitely welcome app for mobile devices, but the mobile site itself works really smooth.

I'm not an expert, but I think that's what the PWA part is. You're just supposed to be able to use the website so there is no app store to get kicked from. As long as your browser works, PWAs will work.
