I'm not really surprised. You can say what you want about Apple but the truth is that it has some of the best HW design engineers in the industry.

For sure, I meant HW design as chips, CPU, SoC. Mechanical elements are quite a different story.

its not the first time. My old macbook pro ran windows 7 faster than any other mainstream manufacturer at the time
