I really hope this pushes PCs to ARM64 and off the Intel/AMD carousel. We have been waiting decades for real innovation and all the big 2 have done is speed up their excessively long pipelines. Once we have a compiler for ARM64 that's binary compatible with AMD64 programs, it's lights out for Intel and AMD. The weirdest part of all this is that Apple is pushing the innovation instead of just kitbashing ots parts for another underwhelming laptop.
