They have excellent hardware, but their software tactics are beyond frustrating. Professionals wake up for shoots and find they can no longer fly in certain areas. The programmable modes suddenly don't let you fly below 24ft. Apple gets 60fps, but android only 30. The only recourse has been to flash custom firmware and you suddenly have your hardware back and can fly the damned thing the way you want and paid to do. So they're another typical money grabbing Chinese company that currently dominates the market. The Evo is the next best thing and it isn't there yet. All the rest are junk or DIY racing stuff which most aren't willing to deal with. Spying? Don't even have to look, it's too perfect. Chinese are building a better database every day these things are flown and know exactly who or what agency is doing what, where and when. I've seen every agency flying the specialized zoom capable P4s in my area. I hope this forces examination and ultimately change. If they go away, so be it, another will come along soon enough.
