Is there even a standard for durability tests? I doubt their durability tests are very extensive. I mean, Apple has released devices such as the iPhone 6 and the 3rd Generation iPad Pros, which are some of the most (unintentionally) bendable and least durable devices I’ve seen.
I'm sure that any company as rich as Apple makes a hundred prototypes every month. It will need a few more years before we're bored with our actual phones' shapes, or something revolutionary but a foldable phone in itself is neither new nor interesting.
