Xiaomi makes some good tech, phones are great. I have a Note 9, can't fault it.
Also have their wireless silent mouse, best mouse I've ever used, and their wireless airpod ripoffs which are amazing for the price.
does that wireless silent mouse work okay with Linux? does it have a silent keyboard that unifies with the same dongle? I never knew they made mice, so thanks for telling us.
I have no idea unfortunately, it's this one though - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_CWTYFMDlRE
If they make a matching keyboard I'll grab it but didn't see any in store
thanks. i looked and didn't see it. I'll stick with Logitech's unifying devices. For anyone reading: as far as I know, all Logitech keyboards and mice work on Linux even if their ads don't mention or list Linux.
If you import the Chinese version there's technically no google
But that's a terrible solution to the problem
Since xiaomi's android skin, MIUI, does quite the tracking
Luckily you can just unlock the bootloader and flash a Custom Rom such as Lineage os
Just give it some time for Roms to come
(note, if the device uses a Mediatek SoC, then reconsider your choices as Roms are usually not as good for them)
