Just started using DuckDuckGo + Dissenter. Name a more perfect duo. Being able to navigate the internet without search filtering and data harvesting is amazzzing. Also way faster because of all the bs being blocked

I've never heard of Dissenter. What advantages does it provide over using safari?

Never used safari, but dissenter is a browser with duckduckgo built in, and has some cool features like tor functionality, while being openly free speech oriented

dissenter is based on Brave and it comes with the Dissenter extension which lets you comment on any page on the internet. The extension was removed from the Chrome web store and Firefox.

Not from DDG tho

I think Safari, if you're on Mac / iOS, is better. Supported by Apple, lots of blocking of trafficking and monitoring. Really a great browser.

I have got to be responsible for about 10M of those a day... I use it all the time.

I've been using DDG exclusively for over a year now. So far there hasn't been anything I haven't been able to find with any other big search engine, but it's been months since I've bothered to check. I'm beginning to think it's more habit than anything.

I've been using DuckDuckGo for many years and it's great. Google wouldn't have gotten to where it is without providing a good service but there are quite a few very capable alternatives out there, I like the idea of helping the smaller guys mature because competition is good for everybody. Apart from Youtube I've been Google-free for quite a while and thanks to alternatives like DuckDuckGo I've hardly noticed.
