Please don't threaten me with a good time. But, as an Australian, this one brings me joy.

Damn, is that all we need to do here?

Great idea. They should withdraw their search engine from the Internet completely.

“Would damage local services” Is that truly the best Big Tech can come up with? Facebook pulled the same move when Apple forced their privacy provisions on them. It’s pathetic

Did this multinational corporation just threaten the Australian government? We must really be living in the end times I don't know how I feel about the proposed publication tax, but the precedent this sets is concerning

Welp Australia is looking better and better. You guys just need to get your guns back, make it a permanent right, and I'm in.

We are looking at a future where the biggest corporations form together as a cartel. If you don't do what they say, you won't have access to everything they offer. Google has your data, twitter your speech, Amazon your property. Step outta line, can't talk, can't buy, can't exist.

Can't wait to see a country switch to DDG overnight... Google really thinks they are invincible.

I really hope it happens. Fuck Australia's government. Bunch of self righteous losers pretending they're a real government.

Yes please... Both withdraw and paying would reduce Google. Shrink em or change em.
