Pretty sure they are still available on bit torrent.

Why not just rent them directly, then? It's not like you get some fancy luxuries on streaming services... like Steam for example. It's just the same thing. Middle man isn't really necessary.. I'm wondering maybe the film industry will start proliferating these films on their own platforms and/or renting services directly. Probably more money for the creators, so lower prices for customers, less frustration, etc. Sorta like Amazon, everyone appreciates an all-consuming platform that hosts everything like the Netflix of 2010. It just never lasts.
