I know you were talking about race, and I really wish I could say that race has nothing to do with it. Unfortunately, the race-based political climates of Africa have almost everything to do with it. It's not racist to say that the people in Africa are too racist to sustain this kind of shit.

some e-celeb entrepreneur in my country keeps talking about how central and south African countries are a great places to start doing cash on delivery since there isn't much competition. I may try it in the future.

Servers require a lot of infrastructure. So do cell towers and the like. Anybody who provides the network owns the game. Lack of options creates the strong potential for monopoly. Ground-based infrastructure is hard to sustain in Africa because of the soil and the political climate. Maybe try to start an agricultural revolution in Africa first.
