Captive user base and existing data, I'd imagine. Basically people like me who used Discord gave it it's valuation. I disgust me.

Our federal gov't hasn't stepped in to say 'impossible because of anti-trust/monopoly laws'? They aren't listening to us or even watching what is happening. Why are we paying taxes if laws aren't enforced (on all equally, rich *and* poor)?
