I love how the news goes all insane over the 8 autopilot crashes on Tesla over the past 5 years as if it compares to the 35,000 accidents that occur every day by regular people. The AI system is improving and they straight up tell you not to take you hands and eyes off the road just yet.

AI has the problem of anticipation. That will solve in 12 - 15 years if the (same) program is as good as the human brain. The human brain is very powerful and still takes that long to learn some details. I think sometimes people get an unrealistic expectation for AI
