Amazon does the same thing. The only reason I haven't deleted my account is because I "own" hundreds, and hundreds of dollars worth of movies and full TV shows on Amazon and if I delete my account, I lose all that content. When I bought them, I had no idea this was a "long term rental" and not true ownership. It would have definitely have changed my "buying" decisions.

this could potentially have broad reaching impacts in other markets as well depending on what the court finds. it's a given that if the courts rule against apple, that will just be the first domino in a chain reaction as sony/ms use the same language when they "sell" games that can be revoked at any time for any reason.
