I'm wondering if there's going to be anything left for humans to do by 2050, the pace of change is unreal.

> the pace of change is unreal. One day we're seeing unbelieveable videos of experimental dog-like robots performing amazing feats. The next day it seems they're everywhere, carrying fat people around Walmart (I assume that's where this is headed). What a time to be alive.

These are still under development. And Chinese built crap fails a little over the warranty.

Not if they are stealing IP...

What do you mean by "IP", Internet Protocols ? Don't use made up & ad-hoc acronyms.

IP is a very common acronym for Intellectual Property.

Nope, not in my world. I am a Computer Scientist and IP is far spread as networking is more popular than your copyright laws which are named copyright laws, which you shy away from for some reason.

alchemy = create. create stuff for each other, one of a kind things or things that robots will build. If a person can get a 3D printer now, I wonder if they'll become more affordable soon - like printers did. That opens up new business possibilities.

Great DARPA duplicated by China, soon enough we will have paratrooper robot soldiers.
