I don't understand why he thinks Nvidia should ignore the current market conditions. They should charge the market rate for all their cards and then drop the price if supply and demand dictates it.

Its a 15% improvement at best with a 70% increase in price, Nvidia said they're with "gamers" and they do this, AMD is going to destroy them this year.

That's because they are selling the 3080 well below market price. AMD is only going to destroy if they can get their hands on chips, which is really the problem.
