A more accurate title would be “run” windows apps “on” linux by running them on a windows machine or vm and using remote desktop

Seems like a bit of a misleading description. The application does not run windows apps natively in Linux, it just makes an RDP connection to a windows server and displays the remote app on the local display. This application just makes that process transparent. It’s basically a free Citrix clone.
