There may be an easier way but I typically use browser debug to get a direct link to the video. Just right click and select "Inspect Element" then look for the actual video link. Then I create a simple HTML file and open it with a browser. Even if you don't code the HTML is simple enough. `Text To Click` Example `CLICK HERE TO GO TO RUQQUS` Result: CLICK HERE TO GO TO RUQQUS You just save the txt file with a .html extension then open it with any browser. You should be able to right click the link and save the video. The link should end with a file extension like .mp4, .mov, .mpeg or whatever.

I’ve used an app called “clipgrab” (on Mac). It works with most videos about 75% of the time, and it has an option to just grab the audio.

Express solution: download `youtube-dl` and use it to grab videos from any streaming service imaginable. Advanced solution: Open developer tools, Network tab, then refresh the page. There will be a huge list, looking through it you'll find one of 3 possibilities: 1. The video is served directly as a mp4/webm file, in that case you simply right-click it in the list and save as. 2. The video is split into chunks that are combined in a m3u8 file, in that case you copy the file link and feed it to VLC or ffmpeg. 3. Same as 2 but it's a mpd file.

I just moved to a DeGoogled phone so I don't have access to most apps. The only app I use that has video download capabilities is NewPipe. It's basically a YouTube clone though so it's only good for stuff on YouTube. You can also download the videos as MP3s which is pretty cool.

I know, but `youtube-dl` is not just for yt, it supports almost all streaming services under the sun.
