Is there a way to know if you downloaded the Right browser?
I just bought a new computer 3 weeks ago and downloaded Brave. com on it. Everything looks legit; I checked just now. But how can I be sure?
Your PC would have warned you; just because the site had a valid cert doesn’t mean the installer itself has been signed or that it would be ignored by built in malware detection
