Did you know that: the quotes around the words free speech above are called "Scare Quotes" ?

Oh they definitely are scare quotes, the writer is obviously hostile to the concept. But it's good to see that Substack is still getting press and is expanding, and that free speech is being seen as a feature for certain kinds of businesses.

Yeah, found this via Freddie DeBoer who was originally accused of supporting Nazis in the article (they actually issued a correction, was surprised).
