Got this on my other account - Apparently I violated a ban that I received before Reddit even existed. Admins also rejected my appeal.

That's the Linux day zero. Likely you got the ban before they started tracking dates for censorship purposes so it defaulted to zero.

That's kind of what I was thinking too, but only I got the ban only 2 days ago. I'd also been posting on the stated subreddit for a few weeks - but only got a ban when I posted something that irritated the hive mind and got massively downvoted/mass-reported. Could be that an admin retroactively applied a ban, but forgot to specify a date.

Appeal the ban on your main account..I've been banned a few times for power tripping mods who banned me / reported me for zero reason, had each overturned.

How are these mods not banned for abusing their power? That is a gaming subreddit, the Harry potter game IS a game. Talking about buying/playing games is the point of the subreddit.

Didn’t work for me. There’s not enough room to put an actual appeal, and the “person” who reviewed it couldn’t even specify what tule I broke.

You have to reappeal each time it is denied. It takes about a month to two months of consistently doing appeals until someone important finally actually looks at the damn thing and unbans you

This means you're r/DeclineIntoCensorship by powermods of a huge sub (which is normal on Reddit) at Unix time code 0 = 1/1/1970 0.00 AM. UTC 0 commonly happens when the site can't get date and time properly.

I got banned for using an alt account after another ban... Only I don't have an alt account. Pretty much they can ban you for no reason at all. At least your's says "linked account" while mine didn't say that. Just saying my writing style betrayed my alt account identity.
