What are the Reddit Alternatives?

Now that Reddit is shitting the bed, where to next? I've been a redditor since the Great Digg Migration, when everyone fled Digg to Reddit due to serious problems with that website. Reddit now has its own slew of problems, particularly around censorship, and I think it's irredeemable. What Reddit alternatives are out there?

Honestly, fresh air and sunlight. Otherwise if you want to have a giggle, Twitter is actually somewhat decent now since Elon. I still use forums specific to my hobbies.

Lemmy, but it needs work.

Needs _a lot_ of work. Anything coming within even ICBM range of the 10k character limit for posts and comments fails to get posted… even submissions in the 6-7k range has the submit button spinning forever, with no indication of where the problem is. They need to start providing user-accessible error messages so the community can help out, and people aren’t faced with “dead stick” bugs. Any bug is acceptable as long as the end user is given a coherent indication that it’s the system derping and it’s not actually their fault.

If you find out, let a brother know. This platform has changed so much for the worst.
