I understand deleting the post and doing a temp ban but perma ban really? I checked the popularopinion banned topics and this doesn't encroach on any of those subjects. Luckily, trueunpopularopinion was a better subreddit and allowed me to post there, which had a lively debate between the community.

I mean, dude, that's a political post. And it's not even an unpopular opinion. Most everyone agrees that you should speak the language of the country you're in.

That sub has a too uptight auto moderator. You have to make the wording just right or your post gets rejected. There needs to be an alternative platform like reddit that has an app where you can post unpopular opinions.
