/r/Italy removes and locks thread on collusion between migrant "rescue" NGOs and human traffickers, mods invite to continue the discussion in a thread dedicated to defending said NGOs where comments critical of them have been purged

https://www.ceddit.com/r/italy/comments/67155w/il_procuratore_di_catania_abbiamo_le_prove_dei/ The thread links to an article in La Stampa, one of Italy's largest newspapers, where Catania's chief prosecutor explains how they've found proof that at least some NGOs coordinate with human traffickers to ferry people over to Italy. Some comments, now removed, presciently predicted that the thread would be removed by the subreddit's biased moderators, and soon enough that's exactly what happened. The thread has been removed and locked, and a moderator has stickied a link to a previous thread on NGOs, where however the OP article is about **defending** them. In that same thread, a sourced comment explaining why this defense of NGOs doesn't stand up to scrutiny has been removed: https://www.ceddit.com/r/italy/comments/66xuw0/perch%C3%A9_le_ong_che_salvano_vite_nel_mediterraneo/

The time-honored western Euro tradition of bandwagoning retarded US trends about 4 years too late. Couldn't call it home without it.

France will be great again in 2 weeks.

I don't think it will. I don't see Le Pen winning since even the center right candidate is supporting Macron

Ah, so r/italy appears to feature the same kind of top shelf caliber mods like r/de and r/europe. Good to know, thanks OP.

Sounds like /r/Italy longs for the days of fascism.
