It's not censorship, you idiots. /r/AskHistorians has some of the most stringent requirements for sourcing on reddit and always has incredibly high quality content because of it.
It doesnt matter, you idiot. I bet they deny things all the time that are actually fact.
Who is to say they arent liberally biased like the rest of reddit?

My other account is a moderator. I assume its just part of opening up a subreddit. I dont moderate at all because it seems pointless. The subs I created are there so people can do everything they are not allowed to do on reddit such as posting real info, brigading, ranting, etc.
I understand how this looks, but allow me to defend /r/askhistorians for a bit. those mods are some of the muat unbiased and well meaning that I'm likely to come across. However the sub is very *very* strict in what comments it allows. This is understood and clearly and civilly communicated by the same mods. The reason it is so strict is that there is a lot of misinformation and vas history floating around, often perpetuated by people who think they know what they're talking about. /r/askhistorians is a place where myths like that are corrected and popular qurstions answered by credible (academic) historians. So they have to be very resolute in deleting false, nonsourced, speculative or vague answers.
So I feel that, since this serves a clear purpose in the sub and the mods are completely transparant in how, why, and when they remove content, furthermore the deleting follows a strict set of rules and it seems not partisan and equally enforced to all parties, I would say that this is not censorship, it is curating content.
'History' is only allowed when I agree with what it, not what it was.
If historically a group of people did something but now because of social pressures its not acceptable to mention that, you just start hiding it and then eventually those people never did that thing. But they did do that thing and that thing shouldn't be forgotten. To be as unbiased as possible.
