I don't know if this sub is a circle jerk or not so have at it.
Like every subreddit, this one has many different kinds of people. Some care about the truth, some care about attaining victim status and attention, some care about advancing their agenda at any cost including lies.
In this particular case it's pretty obvious it wasn't about censorship but about violating some very simple rules of /r/CanadaPolitics. This does not belong here.

Rule 2 fits with both. When the user was piggybacking onto top comments to show the post, he violated that one. Linking to a video on Trudeau not answering a question has no substance to the discussion.
