/r/political_tweets, run by former /r/MarchAgainstTrump moderators, is openly using their discord to upvote-brigade their posts

Later on they re-enabled stickies but specifically limited the_donald's ones, preventing them from ever reaching /r/all. Yet, of course, anti-Trump subreddits are free to engage in open vote manipulation.

I really hate T_D but at the same time the anti Trump shitposting sitewide is extremely annoying

T_D is at the same level as ETS, r/politics and the rest of your standard anti-Trump spam. Marchagainsttrump and this new subreddit are on another level thought. pro-Trump people and anti-Trump people hate them equally because they're so openly scummy.

Except T_D can't get onto r/all..

Yeah what's up with that? Thought they made "Popular" exactly to exclude T_D but even all excluded them wtf

Admin manipulation

Can you explain that? I know they banned sticky posts from T_D, but now they cant get anything on r/all?
4
They can't, Only members subscribed to r/T_D can see them, they throttled the votes at one point, but when they fucked it up T_D was every post on r/all for a few hours.

So they essentially shadow banned the entire sub?

Rule of thumb: when you have to go through this many hoops to spread your message, your message obviously is pretty shit.

11 year badge here. used to love reddit. now i wish for its utter destruction like digg after their homepage redesign.
4
digg needs to be destroyed. what can we do to help?

If the admins didnt interfere, this website would be Pro Trump and it's not even close.

Not true at all. I hate Trump, but I defend him against the retards that spam the frontpage. If said retards didn't exist, I would attack Trump (although much more civilly than they do). I know there are many people on here like this, and there's no way to know for sure which "side" would be more popular.

Go into non-default subs (entirely devoid of politics) and see a pro Trump statement and see how many upvotes it gets. there's a huge upswing of his supporters here, but you'd be hard pressed to find it because of how the subs are manipulated. The top subs have some fuckery going on in them and seeing the bot accounts get busted just bolsters my impression.

Pro-Trump statements are almost always controversial. The posts that aren't controversial and are upvoted are usually those complaining about anti-Trump subreddits. People are tired of politics spam on /r/all, but that doesn't mean they support Trump.

A lot of people don't like Trump but dislike the censorship on Reddit.

Oh I get that. But i also wonder how much of the dislike is actually real. I see a LOT of anti Trump subs with lots of upvotes and no comments.. and subscriber counts that dont match activity.

It could be the /r/all effect you're seeing there. Without testing, there's no way to know for sure.

I realize I'm just one person with an anecdote, but the divide is real. people from the city/metro areas generally fucking loathe trump(myself included), whereas my friends from small towns back home fucking can't stop riding his dick. We live in a split country and if you think Trump is overwhelmingly favored or loathed in this country then you haven't really been paying attention

> don't like Trump but dislike the censorship funny how free speech works. you have to live with other people's expression of opinions rather than suppress them.

I don't know if I would consider this vote manipulation but its quite sad that they feel the need to do it

It's not the upvote-bait title or their discord. They have 5k subscribers. That post has 33k upvotes and is only 61% upvoted. They use bots, there's no other explanation, really.

Yeah I was saying that shouting out on a discord isn't manipulation. Bots totally are though

I've spoken with ThatSass on a number of occasions and have been present during his conversations with others. Dude is dumb as fuck. We don't have anything to worry about, nothing those cucks do will change anything.
