Do people think that labelling oneself as the opposite of their intentions as a good mask?
We're antifascist! Do what we say or get beat!
We're anti-homophobic! Fuck milo dont let him speak! Hes a homophobe!
We're against hate! Im going to find out where you live asshat!
A lot of people do this to hide their true nature; they take the opposite stance to what they are.
I remember when I was in high school, me, and my friend saw our classmate steal someone's CD player. And then when the vitcim of the theft noticed what happened, our classmate was more than happy to help, and was extremely vocal about it. So, the thief was the most "helpful" person there.
He didn't get in trouble though because neither me, nor my friend reported our thieving classmate. He was a year older than us, and way bigger, so, I dunno, we pussed out.
It's classic, hilarious projection. All of us here know it and recognize it immediately because it's all these people do in every facet of their life.
They have no agency and refuse responsibility for themselves.
