/r/News is arbitrarily removing posts from their sub without any notification, citing a mysterious list of domains that are not allowed. They refuse to share the list or even hint at what could be on it.

Here are a few messages about posts I made. It's important to note that the only way I knew the posts were removed is because I could not find them in the New posts on the sub. There was no reason given on the posts. It's almost like they don't want you to know the posts are being removed... Part 1 http://i.magaimg.net/img/2b74.jpg Part 2 http://i.magaimg.net/img/2b75.jpg If they have a list of domains that are not allowed, why isn't it in the sidebar? Why keep the list secret? This is some censorship of the highest order.

The news mods are the same as /politics, same cancer, different sub. Anything that goes against their narrative they will block

It aint arbitrarily, its because it proves their is a deliberate destruction of all things straight, christian, white, western and/or conservative being carried out by the most powerful company on earth (besides banks).

So then they are trying to shape the news as they want (not shocked) and when it is posted from a site they like (liberal) it will be watered down and liberal-friendly.. I hope advertisers realize what this site is doing. Then i hope those same advertisers realize the low buying power of angry and misguided 20yr old liberals (which is next to zero).

A reason (certainly not the main reason) of not releasing a banned domain list is for spamming. If spammers know that their articles are getting flagged they will try harder and harder to circumvent it. JS

Yes. Arbitrary domain bans are "censorship of the highest order". Lmfao.

From the Wikipedia definition: Censorship is the suppression of speech, public communication, or other information, on the basis that such material is considered objectionable, harmful, sensitive, politically incorrect or "inconvenient" as determined by government authorities or by community consensus. Sounds like the community in question is the /r/news mods, and they have a consensus that a secret list of domains is not allowed. The fact that they won't even share it makes it even worse, hence my use of "of the highest order."

You're posting in a subreddit devoted to pointing out censorship on Reddit. You do realize that, right?
-23
To call it censorship of the highest order is more than a little hyperbolic.

I used to think /r/The_Donald also was big on censorship. But then I looked in to their rules and realized they aren't censoring. They're enforcing their publicly available rules. Right in the sidebar it clearly states that /r/The_Donald is for Trump fans, and if you aren't a fan of Trump, don't post there. If /r/WorldNews, /r/news, and /r/politics got honest one day and added a rule in their sidebar that said "Anything you post here that doesn't align with our political agenda will be removed." then it would no longer be censorship. It'd just be rules enforcement. It's not important what the sources are or which sub they're being posted to. If it isn't against the rules and they're just being removed that's censorship, and that's what I'm against. Not because I like Hilary or I think the Mueller investigation is shit or for any reason that ties me to a particular political side. It's not that at all. It's because I think people should decide for themselves what they think is right or wrong, when they're on a sub that doesn't bill itself as being completely one-sided.

You do realize using one sub's open posting policy doesn't justify blanket censorship across hundreds of subs, right? That makes sense to you, right?

Dude, I was censored by Wendy's last week just for telling my fellow customers about how Jews are creating chemtrails and now I'm all like "Look, just because this is a private establishment doesn't mean you get to make your own rules!" then I shit in the floor and they asked me to leave. I'm working on a lawsuit as we speak.

Holy shit haven't they ever heard of freeze peaches?
