LOL, /r/AgainstMensRights? That's really low hanging fruit.

Mental illness knows no bounds.

Wait, there's a subreddit that is against men having rights? There are hate groups of all sorts so I guess I shouldn't be surprised, but that is a new one.

No, there's a subreddit that is against the MRA movement, like /r/MensRights, /r/TheRedPill, /r/MGTOW and such.

Yeah, but the name does sound like they are against men's rights. lol
9
Sure, it's a bit like /r/againstwhiterights in that regard.
9
Wow, there's a sub for everything huh?
3
Thankfully that one only has 41 subscribers
-5
Personally I think disagreeing with /r/WhiteRights is laudable, but you do you.
6
Yeah, because those evil whiteys don't deserve rights. I disagree with the sub almost entirely, as it appears full of racist bullshit, but to make a sub that appears to be against all whites having rights is just inane.
-2
The sub is not against white people having rights, it's against /r/WhiteRights, so you can rest easy.
2
Find a better name and I'm all ears then, because 'againstwhiterights' is a terrible name choice
2
I think they'll survive knowing it confuses you, but you can try sending them a messange if you'd like.

Just going by their sidebar, dude, it's not my fight.

The sidebar at /r/againstmensrights lists those subreddits as examples of what they are against. If you disagree with that, then that's totally fine. Take it up with them if you want to, I just answered a question on what the subreddit is about.

While I'm strongly opinionated on that matter, I would suggest you to keep your innocence and don't dig into it, because that's one hell of a rabbit hole you are looking at.
11
>there's a subreddit that is against men having rights? You’ll find it populated by feminists of all stripes. But that will come as no surprise if you truly examine the tenets of modern feminism -- such a sub is right in line with their core beliefs.
12
The answer was probably removed because it's flat out wrong. The civil rights act only applies to public businesses and the government.
27
Public businesses like the promoter business promoting the comedy show? Or the venue? Or the insurance company?
-2
Maybe, but the wording in the post was still wrong, it said that it's illegal to discriminate, period. I don't think I'll ever get arrested if one day i decide to call someone a n***er or put a sign on my house that said "no Jews allowed"

Wouldn't it be much more constructive to let someone reply and refute or refine the statement right there within the context?

Sex is *not* actually covered by the relevant section to public accommodation, so state law applies. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Public_accommodations

**Public accommodations** Public accommodations, in US law, are generally defined as facilities, both public and private, used by the public. Examples include retail stores, rental establishments, and service establishments as well as educational institutions, recreational facilities, and service centers. Under US federal law, public accommodations must be accessible to the handicapped and may not discriminate on the basis of "race, color, religion, or national origin." Private clubs were specifically exempted under federal law as well as religious organizations. Title II's definition of public accommodation is limited to "any inn, hotel, motel, or other establishment which provides lodging to transient guests" and so is inapplicable to churches. *** ^[ [^PM](https://www.reddit.com/message/compose?to=kittens_from_space) ^| [^Exclude ^me](https://reddit.com/message/compose?to=WikiTextBot&message=Excludeme&subject=Excludeme) ^| [^Exclude ^from ^subreddit](https://np.reddit.com/r/RedditCensors/about/banned) ^| [^FAQ ^/ ^Information](https://np.reddit.com/r/WikiTextBot/wiki/index) ^| [^Source](https://github.com/kittenswolf/WikiTextBot) ^| [^Donate](https://www.reddit.com/r/WikiTextBot/wiki/donate) ^] ^Downvote ^to ^remove ^| ^v0.28

why does that justify it being removed and the poster being banned?

Has this been working recently? A few months back it just flat out hasn't been working. I think redditt has found a way around it.

It works now.

Thank you.

I love how that faggot has time to type up a Reddit post, but doesn't have time to google something quickly.
