/r/sexsells is still unbanned despite the fact it actually sells things directly through reddit

Why the fuck is /r/SexSells not banned? Yet other subs literally linking to stores are banned, because they are conducting transactions through reddit? I'm not all for censoring but if you choose and pick subs at will, and completely skip others despite the fact they are actually breaking the rules is fucked up. And no, /r/SexSells is not a small sub.

I, for one, can't wait until they ban every useful sub out of fear of offending anyone and lose 90% of their audience when the only subs left are r/wholesomememes and r/aww. This site deserves to crash and burn and everyone to lose their jobs.

It is only subs selling certain items, not any items. On the face, not banning that sub I'm actually relatively OK with. However, it is very likely that the vast majority of the sellers there don't have the proper business permits and records, which makes anything they sell illegal. Since reddit cannot verify they're all keeping proper records, it should be banned for that reason.

It doesnt go against the agenda...yet. Keyword - yet. AS soon as this site turns more social, the powers that be will white wash it to ensure nothing possibly offensive remains.

The admins probably don't have much market for selling ads for stuff listed in that sub. Admins specifically said they aren't subject to their new "rule" and will have no qualms about selling ads for products that us plebs are no longer allowed to link / trade. Drug subs weren't even on their radar either, until people started pointing out the hypocrisy. It's pretty obvious this is all about those advertising dollars. :(

There will come a day when they have more ads then real posts and more advertisers then users.

/r/GameDeals is still around too so I guess they pick and choose what they allow and if it goes against the narrative it will be banned
