In 2016, rPolitics formalized its commitment to radicalizing its userbase when they allowed a news story about a black church being burned+vandalized with "vote trump" writings to gain 30k upvotes, but removed the subsequent story that it was a false flag by a church member at just 87 upvotes for being "off-topic". This is just the most famous of many incidents where subreddits such as rPolitics elicit an emotional response from their users and incite outrage without allowing them to 'come back down' by giving them the full story. Without the full story their audience is unable to humanize the other side resulting in the climate we see today where many rPolitics users legitimately believe that they are living in a nazi-like state and that violence can seemingly be justified to prevent perceived violence. However, this clearly does not reconcile with reality, and with each of these top-voted comments reddit loses more and more center/right users. As a result the rPolitics mods, who are likely paid political/media operatives, must now spend the majority of their moderation time policing their own radicalized ideologues to prevent them from damaging their political goals.

I remeber seeing posts about the church burning being a "false flag" . I do agree somewhat. I think its bad for this country to start attacking fellow voters. There are certainly hysterical voters in there and I hope people point this out more because all it does is divides. But, if this is a sub against the radicalization of politics, can we talk about the donald too? At least in Politics you can sort by controversial to see opposing views. What is hapening over there is pretty bad as well and I think it is one of the reasons politics is becoming more left because it started this culture of only associating with your political group.

No one on TD is getting 160 upvotes for saying to never speak again to family members that voted for clinton over her acts in libya that created the enslavement of SSA migrants. Fun fact: HRC's actions in Libya were so destructive that the Pentagon set up a [backchannel](https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2015/jan/28/hillary-clinton-undercut-on-libya-war-by-pentagon-/) to communicate with the Libyan government after it became clear that the goal was to destroy the country to open up human trafficking into europe and [smuggle Gaddafi's weapons into syria](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XHbrOg092GA). What I just linked you is the article that forced me to go from Sanders to Trump instead of "falling in line" with a warmonger.
-11
Really? That article is extremely biased and only say its filled with "stupid facts " whatever that means. I see that instead of engaging in a legitnate conversation you are just obviously pushing an agenda and fail to see that you are doing what you claim the otherside is doing.

Politics is really mad about the Muslim Restriction getting upheld and boy is it hilarious!
7
Yea as if it would have made any sense to destroy Libya and Yemen and then say "ok we're sorry you can come here" and be surprised when they try to kill us. (Manchester bomber was a pro-Gaddafi Libyan national who was upset with the UK's role in sending exiled anti-regime nationalists to Libya in 2011 as well as seizing billions in Libyan assets) No, no, it's totally because Trump is racist against muslims.
1
That’s the problem. They think that because we destroyed their countries it is our duty to take in their refugees, and that any terrorist attacks are our fault and should just be accepted as part and parcel of living in a big city. We also shouldn’t worry too much about them because you actually have a higher chance of being killed by your refrigerator than a terrorist. A suicide bomber killing fifty people in New York is the moral equivalent of a bad traffic accident. Just an entirely unpreventable freak accident that is bound to happen every once in a while.
10
It's not a Muslim restriction ban though. It's a temp ban on countries who are most likely to harbor and produce terrorists. If it were a Muslim-centric ban, he'd have banned the 3 most populated Muslim nations - Indonesia, Pakistan and India.. which are not banned.

This sub totally doesn't have an agenda /s

Bro you literally commented [1 hr ago](http://archive.is/mzDju) in an rPolitics meta sub about how standing up to Trump is a proactive version of what people should have done to the Nazis. Why are you here? lmao

because you're making an idiotic post.

You're brigading too bud * First time posting on this subreddit * Comment history in [rPolitics](https://old.reddit.com/r/politics/comments/8twb18/why_do_you_hate_us_he_asked_because_youre/e1asdbg/) and [rBestof](https://old.reddit.com/r/bestof/comments/8syx0w/ublind_and_his_gf_go_through_a_tortuous_and/e146k75/), the two subs in question * Post history in [rTopminds](https://old.reddit.com/r/TopMindsOfReddit/comments/87p7xd/top_mind_of_reddit_thinks_the_columbine_shooting/) and [rAgainsthatesubreddits](https://old.reddit.com/r/AgainstHateSubreddits/comments/8n2fq1/altright_sub_rgreatawakening_calling_for_the/) the primary harassment subreddits on reddit

I'm not brigading. I found this post when going past /r/all/top. You know people surf this website and look at different links, right? And yes, /r/againsthatesubreddits is a "harassment" subreddit. GTFO.
12
Sorry I meant to say that it's an admin-sanctioned *harassing* subreddit. You guys are the ones in every comment section on this site that's not narrative-approved. It, and topminds, are basically the political successors to SRS/CTR/SB...and isn't it interesting that 80% of the mods of AHS and TMOR also mod r/SPLCenter. I wonder if there is a connection to this and the org getting $400m in donations following the 2016 election hmm...

Woah boy, better get out your stash of red yarn. You're on a roll now!
-5
WTF is wrong with you?
10
+1 51% now with "users here" increasing from 36 to 61 clearly being brigaded
6
Being on r/all rising doesn’t mean your being brigaded. Just means regular people are being exposed to it and voting
0
I stumbled in here from /r/all rising to help fuel your persecution complex. Any other way I could help out?
5
Nah that's fine just validates me that the +15 100% was from users that browse here regularly and the subsequent 5 min decline to +1 51% was outside influence
-5
Sure thing bud. Everyone's out to get you, even the lizard people and fairies. Keep fighting the good fight.

Man, you need to eat a Snickers and go for a walk. This perusal of post history in a little bonkers.

Yeah, you could stay ass blasted about Trump. That's about all I need from you!

As much as it might disappoint you, I'm not really the perfect image of the stereotype you probably have in your head. I just enjoy messing with "safe spaces" until the hypocracy comes out.
6
I subscribe to this sub, and I say you're just being paranoid about details that no sane person even notices.

I came across the post on /rising. I'm sure I'm not the only one

It does, it's one of the few subs that goes against the general Reddit grain and extreme left. /r/politics and /r/news are a great example.
15
This sub leans right because it is the right who are censored on Reddit. You can go into 90% of the subs on this site and spout all your views without worry of being downvoted to the bottom or deleted by mods simply for participating in the conversation
-11
What retarded bullshit. OP needs a hobby
21
Just to be clear no one in this thread has any comment history in this subreddit before this post.
-10
Why the fuck would anyone lurk in this particular shit sub? You think people only post to r/WhatIsThisThing who have a history of wondering what things are? Fucking delusions of persecution lol
12
It's one thing to not lurk, it's another thing to come in here for the first time and try to impose your narrative when it has nothing to do with reddit censoring people. My post (as well as the submission statement) clearly demonstrates how rPolitics's censorship led to the radicalization of its users and now they are forced to censor their own ideologues to suppress the ticking time bomb that they've created.
