Bolsonaro is a presidential candidate in Brazil's 2018 elections. He's very much pro-religion and a disgusting populist. Most of that sub hates him.
This isn't an isolated incident. Lots of brazilians talk about how uptight and narrow-minded the mods are. I was banned for hate-speech on what shouldn't constitute more than an innocuous insult, at worst.
