On old reddit, but trying on new it was just prompting "We had a problem, don't freak out!" Same issue on relog, alt browser. Ran IP Release/renew aaanddd

Just coincidence. I wasn't able to view comments created while the issue was occurring on another sub -- see [here](https://reddit.statuspage.io/) (times on that page are in PDT).
