i went through all of the comments and this really doesn't scream censorship. the mods are dumb as fuck and can't pick up on sarcasm, but it seems more likely that the thread was locked due to pervs making inappropriate comments about her tits.

There were definitely comments that should have been removed for that very reason. Those aren't the ones I'm talking about.

yeah, that's what i meant about the mods not picking up on sarcasm. those people were clearly trolling (poorly).

You aren't allowed to say someone is in the wrong with the cultural appropriation costume BS sometimes? I guess? Seems very strange...or maybe that the whole thing is completely made up and doesn't actually follow any sort of logic.

Yes. And the fact that they'll only allow talk of it when it furthers their narrative only makes that more obvious.

Why the fuck do most reddit mods talk like entitled children

How about you just appreciate my existence and not question it.

Because they're faggots who need their Beyoncé mic drop moment whenever they lock a thread.

If nobody was bringing up cultural appropriation then why bring it up? All that does is make drama. Now if that OP whines about it then maybe but she didn't so...

So just to be clear...if she had just said "No, I'm dressing as Chun Li, not as a Chinese woman" then all these people would be totally cool? You reallllly think that's how it would go? Really?

I can see why people don’t bother at all.
