In my country's tv news (all channels) they're repeating over and over what could be boiled down to how the evil trumpet killed a 7 year old by denying her a glass of water. TV news are a joke and it seems surreal to me how it gives the false impression that many subreddits are ran by these tv news themselves and they all are following the same little agenda. No fact checking, not telling the truth. Just lies and trying to spread hysteria while shutting down any discerning voice. ​

Has to have been for other reasons because all the other Best comments are also explaining how she had not eaten or consumed water for days before arriving at the border. If their goal was to censor they aren't doing a very good job with all the other comments.

No. No this is important, they did a very good job. Look at the time stamps on the original post. Comments that ran with the headline were upvoted 12k times immediately. A top comment calling the headline out was removed. Then, after 60k people got their confirmation bias fulfilled and left, they allowed dissenting comments to come up so they can claim to be impartial moderators. It's a trend I've noticed. By the time upvoted comments come out that call r/politics on their BS, everyone has already left the thread

It was moronic to remove the post, though still they were still kind of resposible for her deathas this was 8 hours after they were taken into custoty, why did no one look to make sure the kids were alright. Adults I could understand, but kids first, it should not be that hard.
