Banned from r/RealLifeShinies

I got banned from r/RealLifeShinies because I made a reference to “The Boondocks”(great show btw) in the comments of a post. The only thing the moderator said in the message was “Lol you’re so funny and witty”. I wasn’t even angry, just legitimately confused as to what I did wrong. So, I sent a reply asking him to politely explain what I did wrong. Once again, I wasn’t even angry, just confused. And of course, I just got muted for 72 hours from replying to the guy. This is the first time I’ve ever been banned/muted on Reddit, so I’m pretty fucking confused.

Unfortunately, yes. That part’s on me. I added that part though, because without it I didn’t think people would understand that it was a reference to something. I didn’t mean for it to come across as if I was begging for karma, but it’s pretty bad. Pretty much why I deleted the comment. Might be why I got banned, but the mod said “You’re so witty and funny”, so that makes me think they were angry at some other part of the comment.

I'm confused too, I found your comment and it wasn't even offensive. Just referencing Ruckus on that virtiligo cat. Maybe they're a big MJ fan lol
