/r/OutOfTheLoop mods censor a response on the Pelosi video they don't agree with, and instead allow one that's just as biased, but in the opposite direction, to flourish. Moderators of top subreddits are censoring what you see to influence your opinions in to aligning with theirs. It's disgusting.

Its very strange. They deleted a comment that linked a video ["Can You Trust Apple? Facebook? Google?"](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CjLHuhOTnaI) Is the theory that reddit is in collusion with these central companies and doesn't want any of them to lose their current power? I guess I say strange is that the prevailing attitude is that reddit has a left political leaning, but perhaps its simply more about control and less about left right dichotomies. I dunno, its strange.

The deleted answer is objectively wrong though. The video in question is one where a speech she’s given had the audio shifted to make her sound drunk, it’s not a compilation at all. I don’t really mind the mods removing outright misinformation.

The original hoopla was centered around the video that was slowed down. Now the media is conflating that obviously doctored video with another one that is simply cut up to show how Pelosi slurs and stammers like a drunk, pill popping 80 year old. The latter video is not slowed down or modified other than editing it down for time / impact like NorseGodLoi0411's quoted comment said.

If this were truly "easily perceived or understood" then there wouldn't be another side big enough to cause the controversy that we're currently seeing. How is it biased? Because the video is not fake at all, it is edited yes - but its simple cuts that show each time she did or said something in an odd way. That is totally harmless and is not fake at ALL. it is biased because they are trying to instantly say Donald Trump is bad and deflect away from Nancy pelosi's strange behavior

I have been following that sub for a while now, and it comes across like that sub is used and astroturfed to amplify the political narratives of those who control the sub , have about current topics.

Censoring that comment is definitely a shitty thing to do, but the video is pretty obviously distorted/edited. The order of the words isn’t even right between the real/fake video Edit: order of the words isn’t changed. Audio is slowed down/certain portions cut to make Pelosi seem incoherent
