Censorship sucks, but at least this time it's the left for once. I reported the sub for witch hunting a while back because of [this](https://www.reddit.com/r/ChapoTrapHouse/comments/ced7dl/political_violence/) thread, got a response from the admins, and it got quarantined a couple weeks after. If I wasn't the one that dealt the killing blow, I definitely contributed to it, so I'll take pride in that. Looks like ol' Nesano gets the last laugh here.

They are trying to distance themselves from backlash. One of the shooters was a rabid leftist Antifa goon, and a fan of the CTH podcast. It has zero to do with fair enforcement of their nebulous "rules". Admins here fully endorse so many other rabid leftist subs that spew calls to violence on the daily, brigading, doxxing, etc... reddit is a publisher, and must be held accountable for the message they choose to put out, and the damage it does.

Nah, they wont ban TD, they know the backlash. About a month before the 2020 elections though, you can bet that TD will be highly interrupted and pushed aside. Reddit wants TD to go away, but it's too big. The user base just goes elsewhere and creates 3 new versions of TD.

As soon as a shooter is loosely associated with T_D it will get the 8chan treatment. I think that they will ban them sooner though. They will find 3 comments that sympathize with the El paso shooter and claim that they weren't moderated fast enough. It's exactly how they got them into quarantine.
