That's one of if not the most censored, triggered, social justice warrior infested far leftist shitholes on reddit.

The only one that might come close is r/ChapoTrapHouse.

/politic is good. Lots of stuff from both sides. Very little censorship, if at all.

I checked and top 4 posts are -Anti-Bernie meme -Some thing about transgenders -Screenshot of that migrant video -Pro-Trump meme Seems like it’s basically /r/rightwingshitpost and not a place for serious political news or across-the-aisle debates

There's a lot of rabid leftist / Shareblue shills shitposting constantly (watch for Planet, it's funny really), but there are good discussions to be had.

How is /r/NeutralPolitics?
2
It’s pretty legit but kind of autistic
2
/NeutralPolitics is constantly brigaded by Shareblue / rabid leftists. The rules about requiring a source (any source) are pretty selectively enforced to favor leftist bias too. Conservative ideas get downvoted to hell, and the most rediculous rabid leftist crap (with source or not) is constantly top comment. Hardly "neutral" at all.

/r/PoliticalDiscussion is full of liberals but the mods won’t ban you for taking an alternate viewpoint. I like it bc people there know their shit and aren’t just shouting ideology. Lots of “wonks” who know everything about our system.
9
/r/libertarian is like 40% libertarian and 60% other. They argue all the time about every damn thing and they rarely ban anyone because they're too libertarian to ban people. No where else have I seen people argue with someone that's agreeing with them.

And here lies the problem. Reddit basically killed itself with all the right wing censorship they did. Now all mainstream subs are very very far left leaning. Right wing opinions get downvoted and people banned. There is /r/AskTrumpSupporters where you can discuss policies from both sides and not get banned.
2
ATS is absolutely horrible. There are left wing posters there who make it their mission to ask you to clarify *every single thing*. I’m talking 7 or 8 guys hitting you with questions within minutes. It gets extremely tiresome because you can tell right off the bat most of them are not asking you in good faith but just want to wear you down. Many a time I’ve gone in there and 0 Trump supporter comments are above the downvote threshold. It’s perma-brigaded.

/politics is basically owned and operated by Shareblue (formerly Correct the Record). Nothing but the most rabid leftist messages are tolerated there.

This , media matters straight up bought the sub out after Trumps election. Before that it was a pretty nice sub to see pints from both sides. They had a purge of mods one day and then bam it became an all Russia all time time hoax. Sort of like what they just did to r/the_donald accept it wasn’t so overt and it was basically overnight with r/politics. They have been starving out TD and now have decided to axe half their mods and replace them with reddit approved mods. We all know where that’s going.

As long as your comments are pro-Democrat, Leftist, pro-Communist and/or pro-Socialist, you'll be fine

You have to tow the line, show complete support and give up independent thought, or you're just a russian bot-troll.

Pretty far left here but pro-2A. They don't like us either.
8
> They don't like us either. individual armed self defense interferes with their authoriarian agenda.

The worst is the shadow deletion of comments they don't like. You have to post something random then edit it to get things by them. Knowing that sub this post is just a honey trap for a list of people to ban there shortly.

> It’s not at all a good representation of the political climate in the states. Of course not, they guide and shape the sub to distort reality and push the points they want pushed. In an ideal word the mods would be wiped or the sub would be quarantined.

I got banned for just voicing a political opinion (conservative). Not being trolling or anything. Wasn't cussing, insulting, none of that. LITERALLY just voicing my stance on my support for Trump. That just isn't allowed over there. So what they've done is ban themselves into an echo chamber, not realizing that the   A) small minority of people on reddit do not represent the majority, and   B) There's a ton of people, I'd be willing to bet a slight majority at least, that are foreign (non- US) and UNABLE to vote in the elections, but are there DAILY voicing support for American (leftist) candidates.   We saw this in '16 when Reddit had a site wide meltdown when, first, Sanders got screwed out of the nom, and secondly, Trump won the election. (Hillary knows as well as anyone the electoral is the only thing that matters, she ran a crap campaign, and too many people still remember her and Bill's first disastrous trip through the Whitehouse).   And we're about to see a repeat of '16 again.

This site is going to implode due to the admins' reluctance to do something about the authoritarian children that like to call themselves mods.
6
The admins are also authoritarian children though.
5
They are hopelessly left-wing biased, "fighting" hard to keep their echo-chamber intact.
4
I'm banned and have no idea why. Yeah I'm a bit of a jerk, but nothing ban worthy anywhere else. I'd love to find out what all other subs I'm banned from

Can we stop talking about r/politics? Surely it's just a karma grab at this point, given that people have been complaining constantly about r/politics, r/news and r/worldnews for fucking years.

Isn't that 90 percent of Reddit though?
1
Yeah, but it's like I see some variation of this post multiple times a day. I don't see how anyone could be surprised any more, so I have to assume it's a karma grab.
2
You were probably tagged by mass tagger for wrong-think r/masstagger edit:nvm since it's a fresh account, it's just paid internet janitors doing their job

The active users on /r/politics are likely teenagers and young adults with poor reasoning and critical thinking skills. Supporting their candidate is an emotional issue for them and not a well thought out one. They don’t use their mind when writing or reading comments. These people are brainwashed and act only to keep their echo chamber going.

Yes we can. It is the 'bernie-bro' version of T_D.
