It was never enforced. /r/twoxchromosomes has always used a bot to auto-ban anyone who posted on "wrongthink" subreddits like t_d.

This is just another facet of systems based on group identity rather than individuality. It is the same type of system they want to institutionalize at a governmental level. A system that will discriminate based on group identity, which is the very definition of racism, which is exactly what they say there are against.
