You can file a formal complaint about the mods to corporate. Not giving users a chance to circumvent their ban is against moderator policy.

I recently sent a formal complaint through Reddit zendesk with files attached. We’ll see if any thing happens, I’m not optimistic. I appreciate all these suggestions!

About the Puerto Rican governor endorsing Trump, former astronauts endorsing Martha McSally, the founder of BET endorsing Trump, polls saying fewer than 1/3 of voters oppose confirming Amy Coney Barrett, democrats saying they’re in favor of packing the Supreme Court, etc. I’ve never commented on my own or other’s posts in r/news. I’ve simply just posted articles.

If you don't mind me asking, what were the sources? It's important to share all sides of all views, so good work! But was their issue less with the topics and more with the sources you used? E.g., were they news or blogs?
