nope, they definitely aren't. This is why my time on this shit-hole is dwindling by the day. Same as all social media. It's curated garbage. I still use YT only because I have all ads blocked and I can watch vids related to my hobbies.

This is some dystopian level nightmare. Ceddit says it was removed by mods. But no text. In my account it looks like the comments are still up!
