It's not just a matter of censorship or opposition. There is no shortage of examples for that subreddit being extremely mismanaged. You can trivially find examples of people calling for violence, spreading factual inaccuracies, and generally just being toxic. It's really easy to say "lol censorship" -- but legit it was just a cesspool.

And I say that as someone who felt like Trump got an unfair shake from the media in his presidency. People took so much of what he said out of context for their own narrative. That doesn't make that subreddit any less of a cesspool.
