/r/PublicFreakout: Posting a pro-mask mandate government report? Top comment! Posting multiple scientific studies on adverse effects of mask use? Ban! 🏆

[The comment that got me banned](https://np.reddit.com/r/PublicFreakout/comments/lcoiei/17yo_stands_her_ground_against_canadian_karen/gm44hzl/), which was a reply to [this pro mask mandate comment.](https://np.reddit.com/r/PublicFreakout/comments/lcoiei/17yo_stands_her_ground_against_canadian_karen/gm1p1dz/) It's becoming more and more obvious that /r/PublicFreakout is an authoritarian propaganda subreddit, as they also de facto censored Italians resisting lockdowns and are generally very pro cop when the cops are doing the type of 'work' they like.

Fuck that sub, I downvote any post I see from there

block function is easier. I just block all the authoritarian propaganda subreddits: pics, politics, news, worldnews etc

Fuck that sub because about 95% aren't public freakouts

I bet doctors and nurses have been wearing them for decades because they just really like the feel, not because they do anything.

for a respiratory virus? educate yourself

Will do! Can I ask where you got your education?

Most likely FB or reddit. ... It's amazing that a comment(your comment) that is dripping with sarcasm was not picked up by the humorless human.

> But they stop you from touching your face too Bullshit. I've seen nothing BUT face touching from people who wear masks. Constantly adjusting them, pulling them off, putting them back on.

You ever wonder how South Korea and Japan have such low infection and death rates? 🧐
2
I think the lack of obesity in asia may have also contributed to keeping them safe.

Nice cherry pick. Now look at all the other countries and how cases spiked after mask mandates: https://tomwoods.com/covid/ Regardless, this isn't the point of the post. The point is the bias censorship from public freakout.

A Japanese study says it was because they don't touch each other or talk loudly.

Whenever anyone says “educate yourself,” I automatically think they are NOT educated. Why is this the “go to” expression for people who hate science?

You're making bullshit claims, it's not my job to educate you, nor to I have the time. There are dozens of links above on the efficacy of masks on respiratory virus.

Thanks!

CDC prior to 2020 had stated year after year that masks are ineffective for viruses.

Fauci himself March 2020: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PRa6t_e7dgI Now he says wear two. What a cunt of a man.

What I love about this is that everyone went berserk when Trump said literally the exact same thing.

What? I’m a nurse and we have always worn masks with flu patients. It’s a standard recommendation. The flu is a virus.

The Fake Left(The Neo-Liberal Left) of reddit is very authoritarian. Those doing it are not smart enough to know its wrong. ... They will come to understand the consequences in due time.

> ... They will come to understand the consequences in due time. They won't, and I don't care what they think or trying to convince them anymore. It's all about survival now.
