there is a bit of a problem with people shouting over detransitioners, I will concede there, but there are many detransitioners who will use their experience as a justification for denying treatment to many trans people (**NOT** people who are unsure of their gender identity) and how they need "mental treatment" or something rather than transitioning. these types are likely who are getting the hate, since they're essentially putting up the middle finger to trans people who actually *need* to transition.

When I say "critical" I mean, stay critical - use your ciritical thinking skills. You should always be a little critical of the things you take in just to evaluate if you are being lied to or not.
The destansitioners on /detrans are mostly just sharing their stories about how they feel they were encouraged to transition because of social pressures, and about how many of them feel like they have made major mistakes listening to others. They share about how their friend groups turn on them and demonize them the moment they decide they aren't trans. It really highlights the toxic elements that are wrong in that community - it's not about people trying to ban anything. Give it a read-though.
As for propaganda - there's a lot of it floating around these days and it's intent is to shape your views in more ways than I can count. Be aware of what you are looking at and how it's trying to influence you - compare it to things you know to be true and look at your foundational beliefs.
